Bringing Peace to Parenthood
Hello,
we are Rachel and Becca
As sisters ourselves (and a doula team) we get it—the “village” we need to raise our babies just doesn’t exist for most of us. Let us step in as your honorary “sister” to support you during your pregnancy, labor and beyond.
My Journey to Becoming a Doula:
After experiencing two difficult births and postpartum periods myself I found myself seeking a path in which I could help ease the journey for new mothers. With a background in Child and Family development and experience working in children’s hospitals with families, I have always been drawn to working with individuals during transitional times of their lives.
Experience and Credentials:
"I bring 10 years of heartfelt service to families in a variety of setting to my role as your birth and postpartum doula. I am certified in birth and postpartum doula work and have attended numerous births and postpartum periods. My experience has taught me how to effectively support new moms so they can feel empowered in their decision making and enjoy their birth and postpartum peroid."
What Sets Me Apart:
"What sets me apart is my commitment to you. You're not just another client; you're a mom who deserves to feel confident, heard, and cared for. I tailor my support to your unique needs, whether it's helping you with breastfeeding, emotional well-being, or adjusting to a new family dynamic."
What I Believe:
"I don't just focus on baby care; I take a holistic approach that includes nurturing you, the mother. Motherhood is not a solo act—it takes a supportive community, and I aim to be a valuable part of yours."
My Approach:
Personalized Support:
"Your story is unique, and so are your needs. Whether you're a first-time mom or adding another bundle of joy to your family, I adapt my support to fit your situation."
Knowledgeable Care:
"I don't just go by the book; I stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices in postpartum care. I bring you tried and true methods that work."

"Life doesn't operate on a 9 to 5 schedule, especially with a new baby. That’s why I offer daytime, nighttime, and even virtual support to fit your routine."
My Promise

Frequently Asked Questions
How Soon Should I Book Your Services?
The sooner, the better to ensure I’m available for your specific dates. However, life is unpredictable—especially with a new baby. I try to accommodate last-minute requests when possible. For birth support I recommend reaching out during your second trimester to secure your dates. I do however take consults in the first trimester and try to accommodate last-minute dates as well.
What Are Your Fees?
Finances shouldn't be a stressor during this special time. That's why I offer different packages to suit various needs. From hourly rates to full-day packages, there’s something to fit every budget. Detailed pricing can be discussed during our initial free consultation.
Can Family Members Be Involved?
Absolutely, family support can be crucial. I encourage spouses, partners, and even grandparents to be part of the process. Whether it’s learning about baby care or providing emotional support to the new mom, everyone’s involvement creates a stronger, holistic support system. I also can provide support to siblings during this exciting and transitional time.
Do You Offer Virtual Services?
Yes, for those who prefer or require it, virtual consultations and guidance are available. This can be a flexible and convenient option for many families.
